Buhari never signed any currency swap deal with China. He confirmed it himself also the CBN governor and finance minister said nothing of such was signed with china

Went to China to borrow money....Fayose wrote to the Chinese govt advising them against it citing the fact that The FG claims to be recovering over $30m in loots..the Chinese govt declined giving the loan....knowing they've wasted over a billion naira on a foolish unfruitful trip...Lie Mohamed put out the currency swap deal to the media to distract Nigerians....they come back,after 2weeks they denied any currency swap deal...zombies forget the loan they went for and didn't get,..wailers forget how much was wasted on that said trip

So far three things are the most likely factors. 1. Fayose factor. (his letter to Chinese gvt) 2. China weighed the deal and oso. 3. Bubu and Co are still afraid of the the deal.
