Beloved, Legalism (The Law) does not lead to or bring change. Only His goodness, love that brings change. Why? Romans 2:4 (KJV) Or despisest thou the riches of his goodness and forbearance and longsuffering; not knowing that the goodness of God leadeth thee to repentance? Don't drive away the people through your legalism, but rather, gather them through Love. Why ? Because
they came to seek rest and comfort in the church. And if the church can't give them that comfort/rest, where else can they get it ? That is why Jesus is still saying, ''Come, Come unto me All ye that labour and are heavy laden and I will give you
Rest. Matt.11:28. You are calling them all manner of unrighteous name, but that is the reason why they came. They are seeking for rest, and the rest giver is willing to give them that rest. Why make them unrest when legalism did not give us salvation which Grace did? So preach the Gospel of the kingdom. Mark16 :15. May you find rest in every aspect of your life in Jesus name.
