According to the bible there is only one sacrifice which is christ.and only one mediator between God and man.jesus is now both the high priest of our faith and through him our sin has been washed away and our iniquities taking from us with the nature of sin is nailed to the cross. Now he has payed the ultimate price and is seated in heaven for us.so he can be mediator(a lawyer) between God and man. Is any other person or saint qualified to mediate or ask God to answer our prayers when we pray to God. So i think the idea of praying through any saint saying things like ''saint joseph pray for us saint e.t.c pray for us '' is wrong. But i might be the one wrong about it,so please air your view. #let's discuss. |
