Dakar Senegal: Chad's previous president, Hissene Habre has been indicted wrongdoings against mankind and sentenced to life in jail at a point of interest trial in Senegal. The judge sentenced for assault, sexual servitude and requesting killings amid his guideline in the 1980s. Habre has been given 2 weeks to make an offer against life detainment. Habre was captured in Senegal, where he was ousted, in 2013, that year a court in Chad sentenced him to death in absentia for violations against mankind. It was the first run through an AU-supported court had attempted a previous ruler for human rights manhandle. Numerous have hailed the AU for setting another record. Talking amid sentencing an AU prosecutor said that the sentence is a notice against 'African despots' that the long arm of global law will tail them one day when they leave office.
