Any outbreak of war in the Niger Delta would leave Nigeria at the brink. That's the truth.

Probably.

The SW got no worries so nothing spoil

And a dangerous time needs proactive and cautions timekeepers.

Why are black baboons and monkeys in Africa always scared of dying trying to do the right thing

This attitude of Black people is what made less than 5 thousand men ravage, enslave and destroy their entire continent

BE READY TO DIE IF YOU WANT TO FREE YOURSELVES FROM THIS SLAVERY YOU ALL CURRENTLY IN

very daft race of people

No dead man revolutionises the world, only the living do. In Africa, dead men's ideologies and revolutionary stance go with them to the grave owing to inability of their fellow comrades to take up the fight after their exit. Nobody is afraid of death but it must never end up in vain.

This is the excuse of cowards and people with lack of fur sight

You cannot totally emancipate your self from slavery without fighting to the death for it

This is a historic proven fact!

The unity of the country must take preeminence over any primordial considerations. If the president has to go on his kneels for the country to remain one, he doesn't have any choice. Grandstanding by any of the govt arms would lead us nowhere.

The unity of the country cannot take preeminence over the lives of the indigenous people of the land. You cannot claim to have a country without the sovereign consent of all involved and Nigeria does not have this, it never did. While it is true that the implementation of the confab recommendations would have gone a long way to calm the restive nerves of the SS/SE people, the truth is that there is another section of the country who are agitating against it. They are the ones currently holding the levers of power. Fair to say that the confab report will never be implemented while a northern president is in Aso Rock. In the meantime, the SE/SS will remain ever restive.

Why didn't Jonathan implement it?

The report was done in 2014. And we all know in Nigeria that the last yr of a government is usually used more for campaigning especially if the president is going for a second tenure. Beside, trying to implement the report of the confab will bring criticism by the APC who will say that he is trying to limit the powers of the president because he knows he is going to lose to Buhari. The uprising of the opposition governors when NOI tried to save money from the excess crude account is a case point. Today, they are regretting it and still blame GEJ and NOI for not saving.

I don't think the president has any choice other than implementing the Confab report. It's the only panacea for enduring peace in the country.

Of course he has a choice. If he doesn't implement it will you go and hold him? The report will never be implemented because the recommendations favour the South but not the North.

Did anything change after the death of MKO Abiola and Thomas Sankara in Nigeria and Burkinafaso respectively?

I don't even understand some of y'all. What's our business with whatever is happening in the SE/SS especially as
Yorubas.

We should be more concerned about the development of the SW, how our governors can look inwards
than taking panadol for SS/SE problems. Aren't they the same people co-signing the avengers? They
love what's going on. I LOVE IT TOO

Same people will still insult you asking you whether it's your land that's being destroyed

The only thing I don't want to hear is when investors start moving into the SW and some quadrangle heads
and riverine zorros come here to tell us Yorubas are the ones who sent investors out of their lands or Tinubu is behind
their woes

I love this your reply. No mind some Yorubas.

I just pray the FG allocate the oil block in lagos to a kano man. Then you'll make that comment again I suppose.

Allocation of Oil blocs is at the whim and caprices of whoever is the president be it Yoruba, IBO or Hausa. It's a "paddy-paddy arrangee" thing, just as Fela said

Then Nigeria is on a tight rope as far as peaceful cohabitation is concerned.
