Three heavy duty trucks were involved in a ghastly auto accident this morning.

The accident occurred in the early hours of Thursday morning along Oko-Fikki bus stop along LASU- Isheri Road, Igando.

A heavy duty trailer, a LASTMA waste truck and a truck carrying tomatoes were involved in the collision.

An eye witness confirmed to www.metronaija.com the waste bin truck was trying to enter into the trash site, where he would empty his bin, and both truck with sachet tomato and fuel tanker were on top speed.

This led to the collossion with the LASTMA truck.

It remains unclear if any lives were lost in the accident although men of the Lagos state emergency service are on the scene.

Metronaija gathered that he driver of the truck with sachet tomato has since been taken to the hospital, while rescue efforts continue to bring out the motorboy and military escort of the truck with sachet tomato.

The accident has led to massive traffic on LASU-Isheri Road.

I just read this report out loud and my
mum remarked about the commodities that the vehicles were carrying - Fuel and Tomatoes, the two most expensive commodities in Nigeria at the moment! Incredible! This must be an omen

grin

In other news, for those who use that route, I can confirm that the vehicles have been cleared off the road, and traffic is flowing as usual now
