It is no longer a new thing with the way and manner our politicians contribute towards societal development projects.

It has become a trend In Katsina State for our legislative representatives both at the National level & at State level in terms of constituency projects. They dance to the same tune over and over again with a chain of similarities in all their Constituency projects.

Senator Umar Kurfi AKA Nzeribe [Senator representing Katsina Central] as part of his constituency assignment donated 20 brand new cars to party elders at the detriment of the masses that voted for him.

“Katsina Central senator Umar Nzirabe donates cars and bikes to APC leaders. We are NOT impressed by this outdated money-bag politics. Someone should remind him this is post election period not pre election. We need social investment projects that bear direct impact on the lives of the ordinary citizens who gave their votes, not poster boys. Any senator can learn from comrade shehu Sani”.

The event which was held on Saturday 28th May 2016, at the State party headquarters in Katsina, in attendance were His Excellency Gov Masari and other party stakeholders.

Last month, Senator Kurfi said he was voted to stay in Abuja not in Katsina which many have condemned his statement. The recent event exposed how disconnected Senator Kurfi is with his constituency.
