The Niger Delta Avengers has attacked and blown up another oil installation in southern Nigeria. According to the militant group’s Twitter account, its members carried out an attack on the Shell Nigeria (SPDC) 48 Export Pipeline, located near Forçados, Delta state, at 03:00 last night. The pipeline was being repaired for damage caused by a previous attack by the militant group when it was blown up. According to the group’s Twitter account, the Niger Delta Avengers had warned Shell against repairing the damage installation but its threats went unheeded.
