Job role/ Educational requirements:

Assist in the primary day-to-day responsibility for planning, implementing, managing and controlling all financial-related activities.

Required Job Role:

Develops annual sourcing plans to ensure that Management and Staff sourcing is in place to meet business requirements through effective forecasting.

Develops strategy for and manages UB recruitment social media presence.

Develops and implements best practice selection and assessment techniques to support all new entry recruitment activity, including the use of appropriate assessment tools.
Oversees the planning and organising of all graduate recruitment assessment centres.
Ensures that offer and on boarding process is managed effectively by both Sourcing Partner and UB teams ensuring a seamless transition for the candidates
Responsible for agreeing and communicating new entry offers in line with business and market requirements.
Develops and conducts post recruitment performance evaluation.
Responsible for the scope, design, development and execution of the 12 month Graduate development programme including induction
Annually reviews programme in context of best practise and feedback and recommends changes to the business as required.
Develops and implements strategy and process for talent management of graduate population during first 3 years of their careers with UB.
Develops and produces timely and accurate management information for the organisation to inform decision making on all staffing and management recruitment including new entry programmes.
Reviews the effectiveness of current report formats and information contained to ensure reports meet the needs of the business and managers.
Provide monthly updates on Staff, management and new entry recruitment activity to the Group HR Director and HR Exec.
Ensure that an appropriate graduate performance review process is operational and meeting business needs.

Required Job Experience/Roles:

Conduct Training needs analysis on an individual, team and functional level to create the annual site Learning & Development Plan that is aligned to the Manufacturing & HR Strategy.
Implement the annual L&grin plan for site, working closely with all functions including Leadership Team members
Identify, design and deliver training, either internally or externally by using internal resources or 3rd parties.
Conduct evaluation to illustrate return on investment and business benefit.
Ensure alignment of site annual L&grin plan to the wider Learning & Development strategy for the business.
Co-ordinate delivery of the overhead training budget for the site.
Monitor and report on overhead training and budget delivery, both to HR Business Partner and Leadership Team as required.
Develop, recommend and implement improvements to how site training is delivered (i.e. best fit training providers, identifying opportunities for in-house training delivery, improvements to site induction).
Ensure all Training Processes are relevant, documented and maintained, and designed aligned with best practice.
Ensure the site is “audit ready” from a training records and training system perspective at all times.
Work closely with Manufacturing, Engineering and Labour Management teams to develop and ensure the effective and timely delivery of shop floor skills training plans for the factory, including those which support the implementation of capital and NPD projects.
Oversee and co-ordinate the management of the site’s training system (LMS), including maintenance of training and assessment records the deployment of E-Learning for employees whilst ensuring SOPs are in place as required for relevant activities/tasks.
Responsibility for the recruitment, development and management of a team of “off line” trainers in the delivery.
Provide support, guidance and directions to the Learning Resource Centre, (static or mobile) ensuring links are forged with local colleges.
Continuously seek out opportunities to introduce appropriate vocational qualifications and e-learning solutions for employees.



Educational Requirements:

3 -5 years’ experience in the delivery of Training at an operational level
Good knowledge of HR policy and processes related to the specialist field of L&grin
User of SAP HR or other HR databases.
Experienced user of IT (Microsoft or Google).
3rd Party supplier management













(5)- POSITION: Marketing Executive Officer

Industry: Manufacturing

Location: Lagos.


The right candidate must have marketing experience from the Banking industry, preferably within the Eastern states.
Will source clients for Iron Rods, Copper, Lead, Aluminium Ingot and other Steel Rolling mill products.
Must be very conversant with the Eastern region 4) Ability to speak Igbo will be an added advantage.
Willing to travel 2x a month to the east.
