The remains of Late Mr. Denen Igbana has been laid to rest but issues surrounding his death still lingers.

The late SSA to the governor of Benue state on Security was buried today at his country home in Mbawuar, Vandekya LGA.

Giving his funeral oration, Governor Samuel Ortom reiterated his commitment to bring the perpetrators of the ungodly act to book. According to him, 8 persons have already been arrested in connection with the death.

The Governor emphatically said ,those who murdered his Senior special Assistant on Security mean harm to his administration by trying to make mockery of his amnesty programme which the late SSA Denen Igbana was instrumental to it success.

He frowned at those who are still in possession of illegal arms to return them or face the full wrath of the law.

The Governor formally confirm the arrest of one of his appointee in connection to the murder but said the police has promised to make the list public soon because Benue people are eager and ears open to know those behind evils going on in the state. 

Most of the speakers at the funeral said that Justice for Igbana will be a source of consolation.
