Information To Candidates That Couldn't Surpass JAMB 180 Cutoff by Guru9ja(m): 6:57pm On Jun 04, 2016
As we all know that Jamb announces its cut off mark for this year UTME as 180 ( Both University, Polytechnic and Colleges of Education as 180)This information is for candidate who failed to surpass the general 180 cut-off mark.
The question now is ,What is the way forward and how can you secure Admission with a score less than 180?
As it stands, the cut off mark will not change and there is need to look at other Academic area for Admission.

5 others Ways you can use to Secure Admission

1. Part Time Programme: Students don't know that the best alternative into getting your degree certificate is for them to enroll for any university part-time programme. Both university, polytechnic and college of education run part-time and distance learning programme and admission tends too easy due to the infinite admission quota enjoyed by part time schooling.
95% of all candidates that applied will be considered for Admission, however part time student will not be able to partake in the NYSC programme.

Advantages of Part time Programme
You won't go for NYSC but you will be given NYSC letter of exemption( Having a NYSC letter of exemption is same as having a NYSC certificate. you are just only excepted from going for it. Its cool) and in some other univeristies, their part time student go for NYSC. You can try that of Osun state University. Its the best.

2) Enroll for Pre-degree: Most Nigerian universities run pre degree programme and the requirement for pre degree is just your o level result and the candidates must also apply for the forthcoming Jamb examination.

3) IJMB: IJMB is another easiest way to secure admission into 200 level without jamb and post utme. IJMB is an Advance A level programme for admission into Nigeria university.
The programme will run for only 9 months and the candidate can secure admission to 200 level. Ijmb registration is still in progress and the requirement for ijmb is just your O level result.

4) University Diploma: some Nigerian universities offer 2 years diploma programme and after the diploma you can apply for Hnd or direct entry into the institution.
