Fayose has 1.5 billion Naira deducted at source for the servicing of loan taken by Fayemi's administration. The allocation to the state has dropped drastically in tandem with less revenue generated as a result of attack on oil pipeline and drop in oil production/revenue. He can just like other states faced with similar challenges plan for the long term. In the short term his hands are tied. 2 Likes |

marv1:I don't know y someone will correct what he does not know. He was owing 4 months. A day to the elections, workers texted themselves to remove Fayemi. Governor Amosun himself admitted he is owing deductions for 4months now. Those who are civil servants understand d meaning. That is half sala 1 Like |

The solution to this problem of states indebtedness to its workers lies in these questions; "what fraction of the state's allocation should be allocated to re-current expenditure?" "How much should a state be eligible to borrow and the payback plan?" "isn't it time we considered fiscal federalism"? |
