Former president Goodluck Jonathan shared this on his facebook page. He wrote, Mohammed Ali was the peoples champion who transcended racial and economic bounds. He was also a uniting force who used his fame and tremendous good will to advance worthy causes and raise money for oppressed people the world over. He lived a life worth celebrating and is as he passes on, I join the world to celebrate him. He will never be forgotten. May God grant his family the fortitude to bear the loss and may his soul rest in peace. GEJ. |
