The ongoing Copa América is a special Centenario edition, held just one year after the 2015 Copa in Chile. Sadly there are cavalcades of missing star studded names in this edition. Players everyone would naturally expect to see in any team’s starting line up or at least in the squad, there are players of the utmost excellence that haven’t been selected to represent their countries in the big showdown in the United States of America.

Sergio Romero has been a consistent presence for Argentina as they have made the finals of two consecutive tournaments. Although on the other hand, Willy Caballero who is another Argentine stopper has been overlooked by the powers at the AFA, a goalkeeper as imposing and talented as Caballero could have helped get them over that final hurdle.
