Information reaching Insider News has it that efforts to free Mote, a final year student suspended by the University of Ibadan Management may have hit the brick wall.
This is coming as the scheduled parent-Teachers Association meeting held yesterday in the University without mention of Mote's case.
In an exclusive interview with Insider News, public relations officer of the Union of Campus Journalists UI, Arowosafe Samuel hinted that owing to all pointers Mote may not be freed rather efforts has been geared towards resumption.
"At the meeting yesterday, there were various opinions in fact some parents suggested that parents should contribute 10,000naira yearly to the university to ensure upkeep of the institution but there was no mention of Mote or his reinstatement, from all indications, Mote may not be freed".

Speaking also with Insider News, Olateju Aliyu President of the students union confirmed that nothing serious was discussed at the PTA meeting of yesterday (June 7th,2016).
He however said the union is working hard to ensure that Mote is freed.
