Jesus death however, affects me cos apparently he is son of God, sent by God, to redeem me, den killed by the same God for my sins and whom I have to surrender to in order not to go to hell. The idea that God will resort to threat and coercion to make me a being he created worship him is simply absurd. The idea of someone killing his beloved son for sinners too sounds ludicrous.
