FG Begins Recruitment Of 500,000 Graduates - This have come at a time where the Nation is in dire need of it. At a time where the Financial and Tele communication Industries have started their retrenchment process of dropping workers, this will be a boost to all. Based on Federal government's first roll-out of its N500billion social investment programmes, the Federal Government of Nigeria is set to begin the taking applications online for positions in the 500,000 direct teacher jobs scheme which could be applied for via an internet portal which will be disclosed shortly, jobs According to he report we have, the application portal will be opened on Saturday June 11, and applications are expected to start coming in on June 12. To this end all interested Young unemployed Nigerians who do wish to apply, are therefore advised to visit the website and apply, a statement by the vice president office said on Wednesday. We all could still remember that President Muhammadu Buhari had on May 29 Democracy Day in his broadcast to the nation formally launched the “unprecedented social investment programmes already provided for under the 2016 Appropriation by the administration.” This means that the said 500,000 Teacher Corps, which is nicknamed N-Power Teach on the portal, is actually one of the three direct job creation and training schemes Nigerians can start applying for from Sunday, June 12. The others according to reports are the N-Power Knowledge, which will train 25,000 Nigerians in the area of technology, and N-Power Build, which train another 75,000 in the areas of building services, construction, utilities, hospitality and catering, automotive vocations, aluminum and gas services across the Nation. And it should be noted that all trainees who will be participating will be paid for the duration of their training exercise.
