This story featured partially on both national and local newspapers as well as social media platforms when a curious member was given a chieftaincy title for citing the opportunity for an NGO in his host community but with the full story, I think we all would see a deeper picture and should take a leaf from the ideology of the organization that made this possible and play our own little role in contributing towards national and socioeconomic development in both rural and urban settings.

A better tomorrow depends on the actions we take today. Always aim to touch lives.

"For it is in giving that we receive" - Francis of Assisi

The Daisy Girl Foundation who is made up of awesome selfless volunteers held a one day program that would never be forgotten by the people of Ezza North LGA of Ebonyi State on the 12th of March, 2016.

The program of the day had highlights as follows:
1. An Empowerment address to students of Community Secondary School, Nkomoro, Ezza North, Ebonyi State.

2. Recognition and prize giving to about 100 best students from JSS1 - SSS3 in CSS Nkomoro.

3. Establishment of the ' DAISY LIBRARY' in the same school.

4. Inauguration of a manual borehole in a village(Ekka Community, Ezza North LGA) that has depended on ponds and rivers as their major source of water for over 40 years hence the high cholera death rates yearly.

5. Distribution of items to widows and people of Ekka community in Ebonyi State.

6. The Daisy 100Naira Yard sales in Igbudu village, Ekka community of Ebonyi State.

I strongly pray that the good Lord continues to strengthen the management of the Daisy Girl Foundation as they continue to touch lives.

God bless the Daisy Girl Foundation
God bless the Founder - Mrs Marilyn Maduka.
