I walked in the front door and I was taken aback by the cold wind of "survival" as I noticed a few folks trying to keep this section lively by their "threads"- Some dumb, Some manageable and others okay. I also observed that attention was not being given to them by them "Ogas @ the top". For a week or two, I have noticed the scarcity of Romance Section threads on the Front Page. I don't know why exactly, that's the reason for this thread. With all the problems this country is facing currently, Romance Section topics may not be the right panacea for it BUT atleast, it calms the nerves. It really does. Lalasticlala is a wise young man, if there is a genuine reason he'll communicate it to us without fear or favour. At least, I've worked with him here and he is a Master-Tutor. Are our mods not saying anything? Take it or leave it, we are next in numbers to Politics section if not more but as it's going, we'll still lose relevance and go on 'extinct'. I looked up the profile of some of our "Top Names" that often pull traffic and make FP and their threads are still there like a condemned TV set looking for just one buyer. I beckon on the mods and supermods to give us a word of hope and peace concerning this matter. The reason for the paucity of romance section threads on the FP shouldn't be far-fetched bro. What we have on this board now are attention-seeking, pussy-craving, chit-chats buddies and juveniles creating puerile threads here and there. The death of Romance section started when some peeps started taking things too serious, derailing and chatting on threads like it is some whatsapp group, forming detectives, back biting, gossips, unnecessary hate, competition and rivalry on a "faceless" forum. People who weren't cut out for such drama left the section, then trolls took over. Right now, I can't keep up with the monikers that are born daily in this section.
