‘What’s the problem?’, a curious passerby asked the artist. “You’ve been staring at the board for quite some time now and despite having all the necessary materials, no image has been conjured on the board.”

Then he realised the artist has forgotten what he wanted to draw. Or, did he forget? Maybe he simply didn’t have any picture in mind before getting on the drawing board.

He had not only wasted his time, the precious resources in his capacity and disappointed the gazing crowd.

Before we castigate this artist, how many of us are innocent of this? We simply prepare our luggage and get on the bus before realising we don’t even know where we are going! How pathetic!

As Christians, we go to church, laboring so much in prayer, seeking for upliftment to a higher or the next level but with no clear picture of what the next level looks like.

It may look vague, so blurry that it seems we have the real image conjured and captured in our minds. But on closer observation and scrutiny, we find out we don’t even have any image.

Painting a picture is not the same thing as comparison. Measuring ourselves against other persons without taking into considerations peculiar challenges, metrics and characteristics is a mere display of ignorance and unseriousness.

I am guilty of this as a Nigerian and you are too. We simply clamour for change and transformation without knowing aforehand what the aftermath of our desires are.

Before our dreams can come true, we have to dream. – A.P.J Abdulkalam

Do you get that?

Only dreamt dreams can come true.

Only a seen target can be hit.

Only a formed goal can be achieved.

How You Can Start Earning Dollars On Upwork

According to Nairametrics, almost 3 million Nigerian graduates are unemployed. Nothing can be more frustrating after spending at least 4 years in a tertiary institution.

However, you can leave the comity of the unemployed by leveraging on the gig economy. By freelancing, you can make sufficient money to take you off the streets.

In 2019, freelancers made over $300 million dollars on Upwork. You too can start sharing in the Million-Dollar Upwork cake when you know how.

Other reasons you should join Upwork include:

1. Excellent Opportunity to Work from Home

I know people who make thousands of dollars every month on Upwork without stepping outside their homes.

For some months now, I don't have to put on suit, join the queue, and sit in the holdup everyday.

Besides, I can do whatever I want, whenever I want to.

2. You Get Paid For Value

How much do Nigerian clients pay for 1,000 words? Some can price you for #1,000.

But on Upwork, you can charge as high as $10 - $20 (#4,000 - #8,000). Because they know the value of your skill, they pay you what you're worth.

Moreover, you earn in dollars, and can easily convert it to naira for bigger returns.

3. Unlimited Streams of Jobs

On Upwork, new jobs are uploaded every twenty seconds. There are lots of opportunities for freelancers like you to bid for.

The only limitation is how good you are and the quality of your proposal.

HOWEVER, THERE IS A BIG BUT ...

Getting on Upwork is tedious and challenging.

Due to the competitive nature of the platform, 9 out of every 10 new profiles from Nigerians are rejected, especially when you don't know the winning answers to their questions.

My team and I have helped over 40 people to open amazing Upwork accounts, which is generating at least $500 every month.

The normal price for opening and setting up profiles that cannot be rejected is #5,000. But for the month of October, we will be charging just #3,000.

Not only that, we will send you materials to guide you on how to be successful on the platform.

If you are ready to take charge of your financial future and get out of the unemployment zone, make the investment and start earning in dollars.
