NFF owed him 7 months salaries at N800,000 per
month. He was not having money to meet his
family obligations and to take care of himself and
his 8 children. He was in Benin to press button for
NFF to pay him something; so that he would see
those that could talk to those in Abuja. He even
bailed one of our brothers from a police station.
Later he told me that he had pains in his left chest
and doctors came and checked him. His HbP was
140/100 and the doctor said he could continue
with his fasting. For years he stopped fasting bc of
his health challenges, being diabetic and
hypertensive. But this year he believed he should
fast and that he could do it !!!! When Keshi died, he
said, he Amodu, must be buried immediately if he
died, that his body must not be iced. . . . But we
temporarily put him in a morgue bc Oshiomhole
insisted on a postmortem test which they have
done and I explained to his spirits why we delayed
his burial for few hours. Now we have buried him
according to Muslim rites . . . . .
