Farm work can stressful for the farmer especially for the ones that like to get their hands dirty. Imagine getting to the farm in the morning and you remain busy till evening doing a lot of tasks on the farm to ensure a bountiful harvest. It's easy to say that everyone should know his or her limits but how do we ensure that we remain strong health wise so we can chop the fruit of our labour. Even if you have capital to get labour t do all the menial jobs, you would still need t get involved from time to time. The following steps would guide farmers on how to improve our health: 1. Rest- As simple as this sounds most most us ignore our bodies and simple push on to achieve more results but a simple 15mins breaks on the farm can go a long way to help you maintain good health. 2. Medications- Remember to use your vitamins and painkillers (don't abuse drugs). Our bodies would be tired after a days work o the field especially for the aje butter farmer :-). Its important we visit the clinics for better consultation if we truly feel I. 3. Fruits and Vegetables- if you farm any of these ensure you load up enough (it's not about the money alone). Your immune system would thank you. 4. Sleep- Six hours of sleep is the minimum we need to sustain a healthy body. Get as much as you can. |
