Onitsha Women Traders, Mostly Widows Protest Relocation From Where They Are Not Paying For Shops To Where They Alleged Politicians Have Perfected Plans To Make Them Pay Through Their Noses. (Photos)

Newsflashngr.com can authoritatively report that Over 200 women who are mostly widows trading at the Gods Own Market, popularly known as Coca Cola Foods and Vegetable Market, Onitsha Today 13th June 2016 took to the streets of Obodoukwu Road in Ogbaru Local Government Area in protest against relocating them from their present location to Atani Road, also in the same council.

The women especially the widows among them dressed inT shirt boldly inscribed ‘widows’ in front and back, rolled on the ground, cried for sympathy for the Anambra state Governor, Chief Willie Obiano to intervene and save them from their alleged ongoing harassment and intimidation by those they said wants to drive them out of their present location of trading where they are not paying for stores to where they will be made to pay exorbitantly.

They also sang anti Ogbaru Council Caretaker Committee Chairman songs and displayed placards with inscriptions as “Ogbaru LGA Chairman leave us alone”, “Seven of us have died since two weeks we are being chased out of our market” We will never leave where we are making money to train our children for a place selfish politicians have designed for money that will go into their pockets”, “Two women were raped along the broad to where we are told to relocate”.

Government inherited wickedness from the devil. The people piloting it have no hearts nor feelings.
