Majority of them NO,some of them YES.

They cheat, they smoke hemp and cocaine, they baby mama and papa, they can't keep their homes, they sag, they fornicate, they commit adultery and they bleach.

My only role model is in nigeria is Olu Jacobs and his wife, others are yeyebrities.

Re: Is It Healthy To Have Nigeria Celebrities As Role Models?? by Nobody: 6:03pm On Jun 18, 2016
Forgive me for being blunt and overly self conscious here buh any person who idolizes a celebrity, be it Nigerian, foreign or alien loses my respect and is considered by me as an unserious fellow, not to be considered responsible until proven otherwise.
If nothing good can come out of the people you so much idolize, and you're yet better than them in intelligence, then you need to look at yourself and ask salient questions.
one man's point of view.
Thanks.

The ones with good character are being swept under the carpet.
The ones that have broken marriages, Baby mamas, love for marijuana,Clevage goddesses, pornstars fake lives etc are what we seem to be promoting.
Nairaland mods don't hesitate to get the aforementioned group to FP

M not an Emulator.... You can't tag someone as a successful person until you witness the end of his/her life. Is Micheal Jackson a successful man?

Very few, also depends on your person.

Will recommend some for you:

*Olu Jacob and joke silver (personality & marriage)

*Banky W (personality)

*2face (humble & a responsible father)

*Omotola (marriage)

No perfect being but if one can keep 70% good character I think that person worth it..

Maybe I can listen to you if you are mentioning BankyW. Have you wondered why Jacob and Joke bears different last names?
You must have a husband like Capt. Ekeinde to be like Omotola, and I can tell you we don't have many like that.

I don't know if many people will agree with you that 2face is "responsible" enough to emulate.

I think Zack Orji, Pete Edochie should serve.

A celebrity role model? What are you modeling for Baby Mamaism? Smoke kush? Living a fake live? Twerking? Indecent dressing? Showing off? Those people are not worthy of being emulated!
. you forgot to add bleaching...

I don't need a role model...
Everybody has flaws......
All I do is to be inspired by various positive achievements of different people around me.....
And also try to practice what my Lord practiced......

Well said but

I don't agree

Taking care of the kids are his OBLIGATION because he failed in his responsibility to keep the vow of one-man one wife
Let's look @it like this, a man doesn't steal, kill, gossip, does no ritual but a blast lair, z the person not a SINNER?

So he Z NOT RESPONSIBLE JUST FAMOUS
