Fact About APC And His Excellency by chunny01(m): 11:50am On Jun 16, 2016
Remember Buhari said he has West African School Certificate? Remember some of us said he didn't have any? Remember that a letter written by the then principal of his school that Buhari be recruited into the army as he will pass his WASC? He will pass, not that he has passed? Remember a group picture came out where he and other "students" were in? Remember there was a paper (a "certificate"wink with F9 in Maths and other subjects? Remember the paper had another name Mohammed instead of Mohammadu? Remember that there was Buhari wearing eye glasses in that paper? Remember it was premium times(an online newspaper) that published the paper? Not Buhari or APC? Remember millions of Nigerians insisted that Buhari may have gone to the said school, recruited into the army, but he did not write his WASC exams as he became a soldier and therefore did not have WASC? A lawyer went to court to insist that Buhari did not qualify to stand for election as he did not show and submit his West African School Certificate and therefore should not have become the President. The court papers were served at the All Progressives Congress(APC), the party that fielded Buhari, the candidate but now the president. Now Buhari insists he was not served. On May 26th, the court ruled that the papers were properly served as his party would have informed him. Now the President is appealing the ruling of the high court. He has gone to appeal court not that he has certificate but the fact that he was not properly served. The President is being represented by 13 Senior Advocates of Nigeria (SANs) and 10 other experienced lawyers! 13 Senior Advocates! 10 Experienced Lawyers! Including wait for it, one of our activist senior lawyers! Femi Falana is representing the president! Now check out the list of other Senior Advocates of Nigeria as published that endorsed the Notice of Appeal and please mark the names: "led by Chief Wole Olanipekun (SAN). Others are Mr. Lateef O. Fagbemi (SAN), Chief Akin Olujinmi (SAN), Oluwarotimi O. Akeredolu (SAN), Kola Awodein (SAN), Prof. Taiwo Osipitan (SAN), Charles Edosomwan (SAN), Emeka Ngige (SAN), Femi Atoyebi (SAN), Femi Falana (SAN), Funke Aboyade (SAN), H.O. Afolabi (SAN), Muiz Banire (SAN), and 10 other counsel." It is reported that getting Senior advocates to represent you costs a lot. Some say it costs about 10million Naira or less. Now, let's say if I have a Certificate, which one is less expensive and more integrity-showing, to just show my certificate or to spend millions on 13 SANs and 10 other lawyers to go through high court, appeal court and supreme court to defend if I was properly served? Not that I have a certificate? Within one year, the word integrity has changed definition. Within one year, Nigeria has changed so much that most of us cannot recognize it. Within one year, we are fighting if a president has a West Africa School Certificate not First or second degree but WAEC. WAEC! Integrity is now scarce in Nigeria. Ahaa!
