Governor of Anambra State Governor, Mr Willie Obiano today announced the appointment of 30-yr-old man named Mark Okoye as the Honourable Commissioner for Economic Planning & Budget Development after his confirmation by the Anambra State House of Assembly, on his twitter page, the appointment makes him the youngest commissioner.

Now what annoyed people was his choice of words in describing Mark. He described Mark as a '30-yr-old young and sound boy'. The term 'boy' made Nigerians to call hi out. See people's reaction below

In Nigeria, such positions are normally given due to "man know man", so cut him some slack and move on.
In nigerian political parlance, a 30yr old is a boy, unfortunately.

That is a normal talk in Igbo land when an elder or senior is talking about a junior. There is no insult or abuse there . It is also common among age mates or class mates. All those talking above are non Igbos. You guys fail to study the Igbo man and know how he is.
