Good News! It appears that the recent pronouncement by the CBN to inject enough reserve to meet 'pent up' dollar demands by consumers, and the expectation that the dollar should stay at about N250 is working. I am a mini importer of leather wares. Just yesterday evening i called my BDC dealer to inquire what the rate was. And to my pleasant surprise, he told me N320! For verification, others can call their BDCs in the Lekki/Ajah area of Lagos State. This is good news. I hope by Monday, this upward movement of the Naira continues in the interest of all SMEs, and the Nation's economy. 1 Like 2 Shares |

Wow! It is true, the Naira seems to be appreciating by N10-N15/day. Buyers are holding out till next week. Sellers don't want to be caught with a devalued dollar. 1 Like |
