How Do I Handle My Landlord by Leci: 9:28am On Jun 18, 2016
I paid for a house on the Island 2months ago, the landlord promised to fix somethings (water nd light) within d same week i paid, its been over 2months nd nothing has been done. I asked for my money bck and he locked up the place, gv instructions dt i shld not b let into the compound. He's not taking my calls and is yet to refund my money... Pls my fellow Nigerians how best cn i handle this matter cos its driving me nuts.

Did you get your landlord to commit himself in writing to fix the electricity and water after making payment for the rent? If no, please next time let it be duly documented and signed.

As it stands now, your landlord has no right locking you of the property if you have paid in full the rental fee.
