It 's no news as majority of Nigerian graduates can't speak/write simple English sentences correctly.

Who is to be blamed for this deficiency and how can it be rectified fast before things get worse than this?

What I suspect is the predictive text mode that is on while typing! A secondary school student can spell 'corper' without hassles let alone a Corps Member.

I guess I'll never know why it's a Nigerian mentality to equate Eloquence in English language to the skills a person has to offer. English-speaking is just a means of communication, it is what he has to offer that matters. So many Chinese don't even understand English, but that doesn't stop them from taking and executing a good contract.

Unless He is an English Major, You have no right to call him an "half baked"

PS: Although , that English is horrible sad
