On Saturday, June 18, popular Nigerian Afro-
Pop artist cum RNB singer, Adewale
Lawanson Junior better known as, Minjin has
showed off his relevance in the music
industry as he officially signed a deal with
Swaga Records Entertainment.
Minjin who was once signed on to Kennis
Music and has managed to push himself
through his self-owned Colonial Music label
for many years, was signed on to Swaga
Records owned by Mr Frank Steven Jerome
popularly known as Big Mic, ahead of his
soon-to-released single/video Jare. Minjin with the team of Swaga Record Label
Blessed with raw stage energy and vocal
prowess, Minjin has carved a niche for
himself since 2010, after he played the lead
male character in the first all-black cast high
school musical. However, not relenting on his
first love for music, the music star won the
centage musical contest and has ever since
remained relevant in the music industry.
On why he was signed on to Swaga Records,
the CEO Frank Jerome disclosed that Minjin
was signed because he discovered that he
has the potentials and understands his art so
well, adding that, he is good at what he
does. Big Mic further disclosed that, after
listening to several songs released by Minjin,
he found him worthy to invest on even
though the industry is currently competitive.
