There is vacancy for Deputy Loss Prevention Manager to oversee and ensure the following job descriptions are implemented -

Responsibilities
- develop and implement procedures for minimizing the loss of merchandise, money or company assets as much as possible;
- formulate plans regarding customer and employee safety, emergency procedures, difficult customers and lost children;
- create plans for every store in the chain and modify policies based on location, store layout and history of loss;
- testing alarm systems, monitoring video surveillance and responding to burglary incidents;
- research, assess and supervise the installation of different security measures used in the company, such as security RFID tags, mirrors, closed-circuit video cameras and electronic security devices - monitor and operate company video camera and CCTV systems;
- conduct or assist in investigations regarding shopper or employee dishonesty;
- help with store inventory and file reports and company loss prevention policy documentation;
- develop a robust CCTV incident reporting and communication between loss prevention personnel and the CEO;
- identify potential for loss by studying facilities, customer movement, sales, merchandising, merchandise security, and cashiering practices. Must enforce company procedures, policies, and guidelines in discharging its obligations;
-Detect and apprehend customers, employees, and vendors for theft in a professional manner consistent with company policy in order to protect assets;
- complete reports in a thorough, timely manner
- Process individual apprehended for theft as ascribed by company policy and specific direction of the Loss Prevention Manager
- Must be flexible to work days, nights, weekends, and holidays - not always necessary but may be required;
- support the Store Manager and CEO in achieving the company's objectives by assisting in other loss prevention focused responsibilities.

Requirements
- previous hands on experience in retail CCTV and security/loss prevention;
- adequate management training and sufficient knowledge of the retail industry in Nigeria;
- skills in security and workplace safety methods will be an added advantage;
- ability to read, speak, interpret and understand English; ability to perform basic math, basic computer knowledge;
- Must be able to sit, stand, and walk for long periods of time;
- Must be able to work in Victoria Island;
- ability to maintain confidentiality and integrity;
- Flexible availability that would accommodate department needs.
