The Exceptional Young Leaders Selected from a competitive process where thousands of young people from all over the Commonwealth applied to be a Queen’s Young Leader.
This year’s Award winners are working to support others, raise awareness variety of issues including education, climate change, gender, mental health and improving the lives of people with disabilities and the well being of all commonwealth citizen.

The Young Fellows, join other talented young stars from other member commonwealth countries which Nigeria is among to participate in Queen Elisabeth’s Young Queen Leadership Programme and bagged a distinction and honored with An (Associate Fellow) of Royal CommonWealth Society by Her Royal Majesty Queen Elisabeth II of England.

The Nigerian contingent: Iniobong Samuel, Anne chantel, Femi Omotoyinbo, were among the exceptional young leaders from different commonwealth countries honoured with different categories of Award.

The Queens’ Young Leaders award recognises the outstanding leadership of young people across the Commonwealth nations.

The Queen’s Young Leaders Programme was established in 2014 by The Queen Elizabeth Diamond Jubilee Trust in partnership with Comic Relief and the Royal Commonwealth Society in recognition of The Queen’s lifetime of service to the Commonwealth. Over the next three years the Programme will recognise thousands of young people to achieve their goals.

The distinctive awardee, Iniobong Samuel who hails from south south Nigeria who is the only to emerge from the region since the inception of Queen Elizabeth's Young Leadership Programme remarked that he was so happy to merit Such a prestigious Award by Her Royal Majesty Queen Elizabeth II of England.

“We are very much looking forward to welcoming the Young Leaders to London. It will be such an honour to witness these exceptional young people receiving their awards from Her Majesty the Queen for their incredible work in their countries and across the Commonwealth,” the Executive of the Queen Elizabeth Diamond Jubilee Trust, Dr. Astrid Bonfield, said.
