Governor Adams Oshiomhole, the Edo state governorship aspirant of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Mr. Godwin Obaseki and others were seen eating corn publicly after patronizing a roadside seller while campaigning to market women ahead of the September 10, 2016 governorship election in Edo State.

The residents/market women came out in large numbers in Benin City, to receive Governor Adams Oshiomhole who was on inspection of the on-going dual-carriage Second East Circular Road, accompanied by the candidate of the party, Mr. Godwin Obaseki and others.

Nigerian politicians and their populist postures when an election is forthcoming. Once elected, they become inaccessible to the masses. Oshiomole and his godson should focus on issues and desist from trying to "corn" out votes from the electorates.

By the way, why is Oshiomole going round to campaign for Obaseki? Is he not the one seeking the mandate of the people? The people need to hear him and Oshiomole should stop being a ventriloquist.
