@ last i don carry my k-leg comot for hospital o... Even though i wasnt refer but am kind of releieved i eventually took d step of seeing a doctor... D doctor ask me to do 3different test. ..1 to test for infection, Hsg and hormonal test.... ttc palava na money d hormonal test and hsg are 15k each.... Am ask to come do d hormonal test on Cd8 and hsg on Cd21 i know my God will do something before den 3 Likes |

@Pweetiebabe, I pray that your efforts shall be crown with good news of bfp. However from your post, I want to draw your attention to the days recommended for both tests so as to avoid a mix up. I think he meant hsg to be done on cd8 and hormonal profile on cd21, pls confirm to ascertain the right cycle days for the tests. It shall end in praise. 3 Likes |

@ Pweetiebabe, check the instructions you were given, just like Redeemed said, it should be HSG on CD 8 and Hormonal Assay on CD21. The reason HSG is done earlier in the cycle and before Ovulation is to avoid using the dye to disrupt or flush out an egg and swimmer in the tube trying to form an embryo. @miraclefromGod, I think it might be better if you state zones / locations in Lagos like say Festac, Surulere, Ajah etc. Meanwhile I know LUTH is one of the recommended hospitals and if you read back a few posts, a Mama stated the Gynae days and even offered to help anyone coming to LUTH. @ pweetiebabe, mind set kwa  Different strokes for different people. I've done 4 HSG's and I don't just understand the minimal pain part that from the medical view. The first was hell while the last three (at Prisms) was better but not without that stabbing pain. I would still recommend Prisms anyday for those who find it painful. ejimikeokwu:I don't know if anyone has answered. Pls don't put him on Proviron. The end result will not be good. You can search online for the reviews. You can get him on Maca. There are several of them. My dh used Maca Man. Others testify on it. You can also try Manix, that's the primary function. And try make bd a fun. you may try to avoid him few days to O period so that he'll be the one pushing for it. If possible leave your house fro some days before O, then return and have fun. But whenever you see he can't sustain, don't push him. Let him have enough rest then you can try early morning. Sometimes stress is a culprit, so be sure he gets enough rest. 3 Likes |

@wholesomegrace I've done two in diff places. Only had mild cramp as the dye was passing. Is your tube blocked? I've read severally that its when its blocked that you fee those pains. Another thing that matters is whether its normal pressure or high pressure. The second I did was high pressure, i believe that's how the doc does his. I felt the movement badly, as if the tube was expanding but once the dye injection was over, the pain stopped and I went back to office. I didn't take any drug not even paracetamol. It all depends on your body and the practitioner. @Pweetiebabe don't forget what other mamas have said. Also, make sure its a natural cycle to get the best state of your hormones. Folic acid is the only exception if you wish to be on it. @mumihaja nail polish? lol. Nothing person no go hear for this ttc journey. How have you been dear? iomoge2:Some doctors believe more on day 21 as they say progesterone is the most important on the assay. The test on day 21 will actually show if you ovulated or not. Prolactin also will be almost or even same values for both days. Her doc might be one of those that believe on just 21 days. Mine didn't choose day, i did my last one on cd9 and my doc still said all values are ok. 1 Like |

That is one of the reason why I didn't like that my hospital. I did all hormonal test on d Same day, am sure d doctor didn't remember to ask of my cd day and I was so naive of all dese den. All d fsh,lh prolactin, progesterone etc was done ard cd 15 or so and it was done for 25k. It pains me a lot sha but am sure it's one of those things. All I will say is ' IT IS WELL' Am sure by d special grace of God we will all forget dis pain we are going through now when God go don bless us all with beautiful children. |

Hian! Na hsg i dey see for 15 and 20k? At FMC Birin Kudu, Jigawa state, na 5k and dat 5k sef na beg. Hormonal balance test for Rasheed Shekoni specialist hospital, Dutse, Jigawa state, na 2k per test. Did mine for 6k. Scanning 600 naira. Abeg what's the difference? Hmm...God no go allow our money finish in this our ATC journey before our beautiful and handsome Los come. Amen. Mamas, please i have a question o. I have been on herbs since i went home by December and came back last month. I have noticed that af is no longer dark red but bright red and towards the end, it even turns pinkish-red. Blew my nose from serious catarrh yesterday and noticed the same pinkish-red blood. Meaning my whole blood for body don be bright red or pinkish-red. Abeg is this normal? I no want make gynae draw my ears again o. Thus far the herbs have helped reduce menstrual pain and PMS b.reast pain. Please help o. Dh doesn't see it as an issue sha. |
