I'm no electrical engineer but from the little physics I know 1HP = 750 W So 20HP = 750 x 20 = 15000W 15000W = 15KVA |

Better follow that 40kva advice anything below 35kva and your gen won't last a year,cos the strain on the coils would be quite high. Btw pls buy a good quality gen or don't buy @ all. |
