Lol.. 2million naira sounds big but when you start the project you will be amazed how 1million naira disappeared yet the house is still on dpc level.
Well, lots of factors are to be considered here.. The location and actual cost of material and labour over there.. Per a day job fees for a labourer in Abuja is not same with someone working in a remote village over here in Akwa ibom.
My advice is these, kick off the project with whatever you have and then pray to God for his sufficient grace to pull it through.. House is a lifetime investment and you won't regret it my dear..

If I have to, "I" can build that for that budget. You, not necessarily so because you're already asking the fox to count your hens.

The following assumption is that you have the land and that roof is a pipe dream.

1) Find a local bricklayer, not a builder or a Supervisor/Engineer.

2) Self-manufacture 6" blocks, should end up at N100 per block.

3) Self-hire daily labour to dig foundations, deliver blocks to bricklayer, etc

You can do it if you want to do it.

By the way, I am currently building two structures and I keep a detailed spreadsheet so that's how I know.

Well, it may(in some places). At least, to a stage where you can live inside it and fix things up later. Finishing job can continue for years while you live in your own house. I did a rough calculation recently and I found out that I have spent more than what it'll have cost me to rent an apartment in my neighborhood for years on my house within one year of moving in. This is because it was after I moved in that I did the fencing, flooring of the compound and exterior painting. however, don't compromise on the quality of the building materials, don't endanger your life and that of your family because you want to manage cost.
