The Accountant General of the Federation,Ahmed Idris failed to appear before the Nigeria senate today.


The Attorney General is currently absent from the hearing but represented by the S.A to President Buhari on prosecution, Ministry of Justice told the Senate,chairman of the Committee states that the invitation was for the Attorney General of the Federation and not the S.A.



The Chairman & members of the commitee on Legal Matters, Judiciary & Human Rights asks the AGF representative to take his leave.





"The purpose of this hearing was to defend Nigeria's Democracy but the AGF has faulted the invitation of the Senate again"~ Senator Umaru



"This is a slap on the face of the Senate as the AGF has refused to appear before the Committee after being summoned"~ Senator Utazi

Our democratic institutions losing its respect gradually due to some selfish individuals in the legislative and executive arms of government.

Assuming the senate leadership loses this case what happens to the legislative approvals /decisions taken from inception of this 8th assembly as regards budget approval, appointment of ministers e.t.c will such not become null and void

I hope this APC government ain't thinking from their a**** cos all indication is showing our democracy maybe heading for the rocks.

So what next? Funny how the masses are cheering this power tussle without knowing it affect them directly or indirectly as well as the economy too
