A CALL FOR NIGER DELTANS/NIGERIANS TO SUPPORT RTD GEN P. T. BOROH

A Niger Delta activist by name Comrade Opia Joshua Ojieh, has called on Nigerians irrespective of tribe and ethnicity to support the special adviser to the president on amnesty, Rtd Gen. P. T. BOROH, and also warned that the amnesty program should never be politicized. Speaking to news men in his home town, the Ndokwa youth leader said that when the bullets where flying in the creeks during the days of militancy and communal clashes before the proclamation of amnesty in 2009, the bullets never chose who was an APC or PDP, it goes ahead to hit its targets. So Therefore, the government should not politicize the amnesty program but implement policies of the program. He warns that politicians should stay clear of the amnesty program and allow Gen. P. T. Boroh to do his work fairly without distractions.

Comrade Opia, who is also the national coordinator of Solid Base Youth Development Initiative (SBYDI), commended the president of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, His Excellency Gen Muhammad Buhari for appointing Gen. P. T. Boroh to head the amnesty program

According to him, the amnesty program was dead but Gen. P. T. Boroh has come to put life to the program and give hope to ex-agitators and Niger Delta in general. From his words,he seeks that all hands must be on deck to protect the pipeline from being vandalized and prays God continues to give Gen P. T. Boroh the strength to paddle the canoe of leadership of the amnesty program to a safer habour....
