The spark plug is a very little but yet very important part of a vehicle's engine. As the name implies,it's function is mainly to produce spark. It actually does not just produce the spark on it's own. The spark is produced through coils that transmit at very high voltages to the spark plugs which then causes a spark at the lower end of the plugs in the combustion chamber of the vehicle. Without this spark (it is the spark that ignites the fuel in the combustion chamber to burn which starts-up the engine),the engine of a vehicle will not start,if there is not enough spark,the vehicle may start and shutdown, or it may start and accelerate roughly,which causes the vehicle's performance to be low or causing loss of power. Therefore for a vehicle to function properly,the spark plugs and coils must be in very good condition. Good spark plugs could last as long as 3-4 years depending on the condition of the engine.
