Explosion In Madina Saudi Arabia by EazyMoh(m): 9:25pm On Jul 04, 2016
A suspected suicide bombing has been
reported in the holy city of Madina near Masjid
an-Nabawi, Islam’s second holiest site.
Video footage showed a vehicle on fire. There
are no details of casualties, though the Saudi
Gazette has tweeted that two have died in the
explosion.
Saudi-owned al-Arabiya TV also reported a
suicide explosion near the security
headquarters of the Prophet’s Mosque in
Madina.
Earlier, there was an bomb explosion in the
eastern city of Qatif, where many minority Shia
Muslims reside.
A suspected suicide bomber also died after
detonating a device near the US embassy in the
city of Jeddah.
The social media footage from Madina showed
a vehicle on fire in a car park with two security
officers lying nearby.
Some on social media are claiming that a
vehicle containing gas cylinders exploded,
whilst others are claiming that soldiers have
been killed.
It may be the case that images and video
footage being circulated on social media of the
three separate incidents are getting mixed up.
