Catholic schools in Enugu did not observe federal government holiday. How about in your area?

So what's the aim of your post? I attended a missionary school and we never observed a Islamic holiday. It's not a public school, it's a private school.

I'm just leaving Aba now. A public school beside St Joseph Catholic Church, Asa Road, went to school today.

if your business doesn't deals directly with banking activities, then I don't think you should be affected. the holiday is not compulsory, even ministry of interior that declares the holiday is not going on holiday.

I know you have never lied but you just drop one now. There are not public school in anywhere that will not observe the public holiday. You could as well say the civil servant in that state went to work.

it's a private school runned by the missionaries so they are free to decide weather to observe the holiday or not. Even if they are muslims there, they were not forced to attend such schools in the first place. So they have to abide by their rules unlike public institutions

sincerely. It is owned by the Catholic Church, but I think it is a public school. Aba nairalanders will know the school. It is along a street called Asa triangle.
If I had seen this post then, I would have taken pictures.

Then if it owned by catholic church as you alleged then it not a public school. The definition of public means it is run by the state.
