O let all indigenes and residents of Edo State bless ye Edo State ...Praise Her and magnify Her for ever.
Let all students, schools, road users, market women and men, traders, the sick and healthy, religions of faith, law enforcement agencies, political parties and members, businesses and organizations, the rich and poor, palace royalties and wards, o let all these and more bless our comrade governor, let all thank, praise and exalt him for his unparalleled servanthood to Edo State.
On behalf of Edo State, let ye heavens, ye waters that be above the firmament, ye powers of the Lord, ye sun and moon, ye stars of heaven, ye showers and dews, ye wind of God, ye fire and heat, ye nights and days, ye light and darkness, ye lightning and cloud, ye mountains and hills, ye green things upon the earth, ye wells, seas and floods, all that moves in the water, ye birds of the air and land, all ye beasts and cattle, ye priests of the Lord, ye servants of the Lord, ye spirits and souls of the righteous, ye children of Edo State, ye children of men, ye holy and humble men and women of heart, bless ye comrade Adams Aliu Oshiomole, praise him and thank him for ever.
Edo State is grateful to you comrade, for your distinguished leadership skills and traits shared and witnessed by us. Qualities of exemplary character, charisma, commitment, communication, competence, courage, discernment, focus, generosity, initiative, active listening, passion, positive attitude, problem solving, admirable person to person relationship, responsibility, security and safety consciousness, self-discipline, teachability, vision, wisdom and servitude...
what else could we ask for?
We pray the Lord to continue to make you an instrument of His peace.
Where there is hatred, let you sow love.
Where there is injury, pardon.
Where there is doubt, faith.
Where there is despair, hope. Where there is darkness, light. Where there is sadness, joy.
O Divine Master, grant that our governor, Adams Aliu Oshiomole, may not so much seek to be consoled, as to console;
to be understood, as to understand;
to be loved, as to love;
for it is in giving that we receive; in pardoning, that we are pardoned;
in grace, that we are gracious;
in blessing, that we are blessed;
in selfless servitude that we are truly served;
in honor, that we are honored;
in holiness, that we are holy;
and in dying, that we are born again to eternal life and freedom.
We praise, bless and thank you immensely and absolutely our comrade governor. Above all, in humility, we express our infinite gratitude to God, for His kindness and grace of offering your person and service to us these past seven years; and for our opportunity to be witnesses of your incomparable leadership and governance. A stern believer in democracy, a fearless upholder and executor with unfaltering, unwavering disposition towards the rule of law. A prime figure and fore-runner of anti-corruption drive and 'change', annointed with the gift of gab. An orator extraordinarie!
We also with confidence endorse your choice of Honorable Godwin Obaseki as your successor to be the probable next Governor of Edo State. A great choice, A stand out.
Your compassionate, rewarding, free-giving, friendly and smiling face and laughing spirit will not soon be forgotten, and will be missed by most, especially those who you made their lives better and a more joyful song worth singing. Though this writer has never personally met with you, but he did as a witness to those whom you touched and assisted. Bless your heart comrade, sir.
Go ye forth therefore, our dear comrade governor with the supreme and immaculate blessings and guidance of the holy spirit, as your term of office as two-time tenured governor of Edo State draws to a close. You leave behind the adorable handprints and footprints of loyal and dilligent service. We the people of Edo State sternly trust and believe that your continued loyalty, concern, allegiance and contributions to the state's growth and welfare will only continue to unfold and manifest.
In the name of God the Father, Jesus the Son, and the blessed Holy Spirit, may the innocent holy five wounds of Jesus Christ INRI, cleanse you from all sins, bless you amongst all blessings, favor you amongst all favors, and grant you now, tomorrow and evermore eternal joy and peace.
