Did you see the place where I indicated minor accidents? By minor accidents, I mean deflated tyre, Minor crashes et al!

But peace mass maintain a steady record of most tragic accidents in the country!

Sometimes I feel the accidents are deliberate and predetermined by some spiritual forces only them know!!

I still affirm that I haven't seen a Libra bus involved in a major accident before.. If you've seen, please send me pictures!

God bless you!

Not holding brief for Peace but since yhu sing this "Libra" to the high heavens, let's do small analysis.
How many buses does Libra have?
How many routes do they travel?
How many buses get sent out per day?
PMT with a minimum of a thousand commuter buses, transverses virtually every corner of the country with some parts having between 6-10 buses sent out per day. So imagine 10 lagos-Abuja bound buses+ return, and at least 2 buses undergoing same trip to and fro in at least 20 states, that's almost yhur entire Libra fleet on the road, if not more. Mishaps on the road, although largely avoidable will be bound to happen. When Libra gets to the level of God is Good, we'd see how far then.

Car companies abroad usually have recalls of vehicles running into millions. Toyota had a big scandal some years back. Why can't we celebrate our own?

Thumps up bro. Number of peace buses that leave Enugu to other parts of the country runs in thousands, same applies to other states including FCT. Never seen one single libra bus here in PH. Those guys work as loaders in Libra grin

Awesome step. Wish them the best of luck for this bold step. I will love and hope to see our traders go into the manufacturing of the things they sell. If Innoson can make it, you too can.
For those badmouthing the company, you need more knowledge than u have now. Peace has a lot of vehicles on the road, in some cases more than the other bigger brands thus there is a higher probability of one of their vehicles being involved in accident. Everything should not be about juju.

This Guy started his transport business as an undergraduate and has grown to this level. It wasn't a sudden rise.

Good News from the East.

I am impressed. Africans?Nigerians? why are we like this? this move by the Peace Transport Management, should be commended by us, and not be viewed with disdain or suspicion. Sometimes i am puzzled, that even with our level of Education, we still ascribe to the age long belief of witchery, sorcery and blood sucking.

Accidents occur everyday. Even in developed Countries, where Companies have a good service history of their vehicles as required by Law, still have multiple accidents, let alone those without a maintenance culture in Nigeria.

Back to Back, the Malaysian Airline lost hundreds of people. One has still not been recovered, and the other got shot down when it flew between the Ukraine and Russia troops(Ukraine Separatist is the official version) exchanging Mortar/Rocket Fire, so The owners of the Malaysian Airline suck Blood too?

We can go on. Air France/British Airways have lost Thousands of Passengers via Air Crash, Egypt Air and a host of others too. These guys are blood suckers or use the passengers Blood for Rituals too? Education is one thing,Enlightenment is another, a lot of people need to get enlightened.

Reminds me of a gist with a Benin friend of mine days ago, who kept boasting that Benin Juju is this and that, and so i asked him do you believe in Juju, he said yes. And then i asked him, if Benin Juju is so Powerful, how come the British tied your Oba with Ropes, and took him to Calabar where he died and no Juju Killed any British? he still has not answered.

We should have an open mind please.

Your point was already very clear even before you decided to throw shades at one of the most reverred monarchs in Nigerian history. Not cool bro.

They now want to build the one that would kill the remaining customers they have abi? Still wondering why that company have refused to patronise toyota for their vehicles like other transporters..
They keep patronising unknown brands and end up risking the life of innocent passengers on the road!!
Misplaced priority!
Let they train their drivers on highway safety biko..
Still prefer my Libra biko.. Accident rate is like maybe 3 in a year (minor)..
You hardly see a libra bus in a major accident!

a good one from Maduka Onyishi. meanwhile the only reservation i have for this is the site location of the industry. it should have been sited in Nsukka instead. there is no industry in our home town. all they do is to build hotels and more hotels. if we dont develop our land to attract other investors who will. i equally want to reach out to Gov. Ugwuanyi, inasmuch as we appreciate the on-going road projects in Nsukka, we will appreciate more industries, institutions, gov. parastatals to be sited than estates and road pls so that the teemy unemployed could be absorbed..
Don't worry my bro.. The development is coming let's take care of the road investments would cruise in thru. And he has had the land and project over years and it doubles as the official Enugu Peace mechanic workshop. smiley

Nice God bless him and FG should support him with financial incentives like low interest loans.

Seriously, when the govt keeps supporting billionaires who can actually help themselves, who will support upcoming businesses ?

In a recent press release, Peace mass owner says he has 4,000 buses. That nah understatement.

Some of his parks contain more than 500 buses at a time. Check Enugu and Abuja stations.

That man buses pass 6,000 taking into consideration, the older models. Maybe nah the modern models go dey 4,000 in number.

Now who will support those having one or two buses ?

Supporting businesses with low interest loans will eventually lead to rapid expansion. This will in turn create jobs and grow the economy. This sort of access to finance should be provided to all, but identifying strategic areas like manufacturing for support is very much needed.
