From the President of ARAWA Every radiologist toils day in and out to render services that propels our health care towards the desired end. We use several imaging equipment to achieve desirable goals and remain focused in providing excellent health services to our clients. During ARAWA conference, radiologists from several countries gather to interact with each other, sharing intellectual materials which helps improve our practice. We also take out time to interact socially and get to know one another as much as possible. These reasons amongst others are the spirit behind ARAWA which we all try to keep alive. Every year lives are lost or deformity occurs as a result of one form of trauma or the other. The incidence of trauma has increased in several areas in Nigeria, Niger and Cameroon consequent upon recent happenings in these regions. Thus radiologists have to keep abreast with knowledge on trauma management. Consequently we shall invite seasoned speakers and scholars from various disciplines to educate us on managing trauma.
