The newly released statement by the federal government of Nigeria yesterday regarding the missing Chibok girls is causing little bit of stirr as it didn't go well with the founder of #bringbackourgirls, Oby and some other notable activist. They now think this is being politicized.

The statement released yesterday urged the advocacy group of the missing Chibok school girls, Bring Back Our Girls, not to give up on efforts by the government to rescue the missing girls and not to waver in their support for the government in the war against terrorism and in the ongoing effort to free all Nigerian citizens taken captive by the Boko Haram terrorist group.

Oby Ezekwesili and Aisha Yesufu, who have always been on the front line of the campaign, reacted via Twitter.

Before the election of 2015, Nigerians were assured that innocent Chibok girls will be rescue by APC as part of the campaign promises , in that same vein, they presume if one of their appointed boko haram negotiator is the APC flag bearer ,Nigerians are rest assured the Chibok girls will be return within few weeks after winning the presidential election. Disappointedly! reverse is the case.

personally I think it high time we as a country moved on.....this chibok girls issue should be layed to rest and all necessary measures (just as it's been done right now) put in place to avoid any future occurance
