[size=13pt][b]The crisis in the Edo state chapter of the APC has pitched the Publicity Secretary of the APC, Comrade Godwin Erhahon, against the party dictator, Governor Adams Oshiomhole.

Comrade Godwin Erhahon supported one of the APC gubernatorial aspirants who was not declared the winner of the contested APC party primaries. Comrade Erhahon had been vocal in opposing the controversial result which produced a relatively unpopular aspirant, Godwin Obaseki as candidate.


Information available to Urhokpota Reporters indicate that the sum of 10 million naira has been released to the party leadership to organise the immediate removal of Comrade Erhahon at all costs.

The chairman of the party in Edo state, Barr Anselm Ojezua, according government house sources, has been given this assignment to execute. He is expected to mobilize at least 2/3 members of the state executive committee to sign for the removal of the State Publicity Secretary, Comrade Godwin Erhahon.

The sources allege that the money was released on Thursday. But it was confirmed Sunday night at a meeting where a kinsman of the governor Mr. Philip Shaibu was adopted as gubernatorial running mate to Obaseki.

According to our sources, Comrade Erhahon said he become aware of the grand plan to either remove or suspend him for daring to tell the truth. He admonished the public to help beg the PDP to revoke the spell cast on their party, the APC, which may have been responsible for the series of bad choices and decisions taken by the party in recent times.

“Well-wishers should beg PDP governorship candidate, Pastor Osagie Ize-Iyamu, to revoke his spell by which he afflicted APC leadership in Edo State with madness. If not madness, what else would make them plot evil against me because I am fighting for justice and fairplay? What would have made a state chairman (Anselm Ojezua) to agree to an arrangement where his ethnic group, Esan, loses out completely in the power play even as the second largest ethnic group in Edo State?” Erhahon said.
