Nah it doesn't it's just management therapy. The conventional ACT only act on those present in the blood stream but there're still million copies in the liver cell (ACT don't act on that) and the dynamics of its structure (shape) makes it difficult.

The solution to malaria is vaccination. Work is going on on it in Europe and America. Once it is finalised, all kids would be given shorts of deadened malaria parasites which will prepare the body for the real thing.

What you call cure only suppress the action and multiplication of the the parasite in the body, hence the person gets well for that period. The multiplication is resumed upon the bite of another carrier mosquito... Hence the cure would have to be, prevent the bite of mosquitoes generally.
