There are two kinds of soybean oil processing technology used in soybean oil mill, one is pressing, the other is extracting. Oil pressing is the physical pressing method of extracting oil . Extracting method adopts chemical principle, using solvent to extract oil from oil plants. It is internationally recognized as the most advanced production technology in oil extraction. Oil produced by pressing method or extracting method is called crude soybean oil and cannot be eaten directly. Crude soybean oil contains a variety of impurities from the raw materials, pressing or extracting process. Some impurities are harmful . Thus, further refining should be made to remove impurities and make the crude soybean oil become edible oil products. The processing process from crude soybean oil to the refined oil generally refers to degumming, neutralization, decoloration, distillation and deodorization. That is to say, oil pressing and extracting can only produce crude soybean oil. The chemical process of oil refining should be made to turn the crude soybean oil into refined oil.
