Below is a press statement released by the SUG of the school prior to the protest. The Students Union Government wants to use this opportunity to thank it's students for exercising patience during its time of consultation and meditations between the two warring party. We call on the entire students to join us as we "celebrate" three months of deprived right to education. With the support of National Association of Nigeria Student (NANS) in a solidarity we shall on Thursday 14th of July 7am assemble ourselves in Ganaja Junction Lokoja with aim that the State Government and ASUU see through the pains on our faces and understand the words on our placards.
