Infact he is the best economist ever recorded.

Check recent economics texts and see his economic policies and actions as case study in fiscal and monetary facet.

GEJ Mismanaged our economy
What exactly does " mismanaged our economy" mean in the Nigerian context.

For example, we can say that George Bush mismanaged the US economy after years of robust growth and employment left behind by Bill Clinton.

Who left the Nigerian economy robust that Jonathan and the PDP mismanaged?

Except for perhaps the 70s, the Nigerian economy NEVER had it as good as it was under Jonathan.
This is a documented fact.
Every socio-economic index was Green and pointing higher during the reign of Jonathan.

The Nigerian middle class expanded for the first time in many many decades during the stewardship of Jonathan.

If those are not indicators of good economic management, then perhaps we may need a Nigerian redefinition of " economic management".

PMB has not done well,in the economy and selectiveness of his anticorruption fight,but for anyone to ever think that GEJ was anywhere near competent in any aspect of governance is a tragedy to whatever education that person acquired.
GEJ was a scam *2.
May it never be well with GEJ wherever he finds himself.
As for PMB,since he wants to corrupt his anticorruption fight,the gloves are off and he's going to get assessed on d same criteria others were.

O
Fund collected from looters: Who knows the total? Plans to loot from looters underway.

I will pretend as if your ignorance is based on Innocent naivete, so I will help you with some answers;

- Foreign Reserve is still at $27+bn - even after heavy depletion by CBN a fortnight ago in shoring up Naira value.
- $2.5bn capital is still with the special enterprise vehicle set up to manage the fund. It hasn't been liquidated yet.
- ECA has been emptied to give state govts first bailouts in order to pay for backlogs of salaries from GeJ era.
- $4.65bn NLNG inflow has long been shared to state govt to augment low revenue.
- #4.5tn "approved budget" is no existing money. Find out meaning of public budgets for better enlightenment.
- convert that $2.7bn into naira at rate of #200=$1, which is the exchange rate within that period;
-convert $2.1bn into naira as above, then add them together;
- convert $850m into naira as above and add to previous;
- add the value of those remittances to above; then subtract from #4.5tn. Now you know where your #4.5tn went. Mind you the budget hardly made 60% performance, in other words, they hardly achieved 60% of #4.5tn.
- #3tn TSA is domiciled in TSA account with CBN.

I will spare myself from the latter list because it will require me to teach a whole SS1 syllabus on Economics in order to make you understand 80% of the points. If the earlier basic points had to be so explained to you, then it will take more to understand with the latter.

By the way, I agree PMB hasn't done fantastically well with the economy. But given the trajectory we were set on as at when he came in, he scores a good "B".
